Pledging Alpha Phi Omega

Every semester Kappa Chi Chapter has a recruitment period for those interested in Alpha Phi Omega. This time period usually lasts one (1) semester and the purpose is to introduce those interested to a taste of service projects offered and to meet some current members of APO.

If you are still are interested after the recruitment period, they may be initiated into APO as a Pledge. The pledge program introduces Pledges to all aspects of APO and acts as a trial period for the pledge and chapter. after the semester pledges are activated into the chapter.  As a Pledge, you will be asked to fulfill certain requirements:

1. Accumulate 15 service hours during the pledging period.
2. Attend general meetings.
3. Attend the Pledge Fellowship activities such as the Pledge Social Event, and the Brotherhood Builder
4. Attend Pledge Service Project
5. Attend weekly Pledge class meetings.
6. Serve on one pledge class committee
7. Serve on one Active Committee
8. Be at least a Second Semester Freshman (having earned minimum of 12 Credit Hours)
9. Minimal dues are due each semester...
